📘 Design Guides

A practical path you can copy‑paste for most models.

  1. 💡 1. Concept & References

Collect 3–6 reference images. Define size, joints, and target audience.

  2. 🧱 2. Modeling

    • Block out shapes → refine → add details → check tolerances.
    • For articulated models: hinge gaps 0.3–0.5 mm, test slices early.
  3. 📤 3. Export

    • Export STL for geometry; 3MF for profile; ensure manifold meshes.
    • Name files clearly: model_v1_200mm.stl.
  4. 🧪 4. Test Prints

    • Draft print at 0.28 mm to validate size and joints.
    • Final print at 0.2 mm; confirm no supports or minimal supports.
  5. 📷 5. Photos

Follow the listing photos guide: hero, detail, functional, scale, backside.

  6. 📝 6. Listing

    • Title = core concept + key attribute (e.g., “Articulated Dragon – No Supports”).
    • Use 8–15 focused keywords (see Keywords page).
    • Include print settings and recommended materials.
  7. 🚀 7. Publish & Iterate

Post to marketplaces, collect feedback, and ship a v2 with improvements.
